“A truely epic game which saw the theropods score on the second turn despite defending, due to the heroic effort of Laurasia. The rangers went in hard and scored back, and was then helped by a perfect defence to score again, the theropods responded, but a blitz to the rangers helped them lead 3-2. The coaches had noted how crazy the game was going, as an exceptional defence saw the theropods resort to stupid tactics, and hand off the ball to a "block" saurus because their were not options available. This 50% (with rr) chance came off, and the Saurus Herrera scored the equaliser.

With three turns left the theropods had no idea how to defend with only 9 left on the pitch, and had been unable to break the woodies av all day.

The last three turns were utterly unbelievable. Nailing a 'blitz', and the ball being kicked to an open area in which the skinks surrounded, the question was on as to whether the woodies could recover. The free wardancer lept nimbly in, ready to blitz and seal the game when he failed his leap (rr) then GFI to hand the theropods their turn, in which they moved the ball, seriously injured two players in two blocks, and set up the easy last turn score in which the woodies wondered what luck god they had accidently spat at.

It was a ripping game and nearly a shame the push didn't come off because a draw would have been fitting.

The mvp was laurasia the mv9 skink who dominated the offence and controlled our defence before badly hurting himself on an attempted dodge.”
