I see. Actually, I meant a bit of luck with the game. There were a couple of times there where you blitzed the League and caught them flat-footed . . .
Grimjaw:
The humans hide in their armour. It weighs them down. It is lucky that they get moving at all.
Joe:
A couple of times their star thrower, Rick, seemed to be a bit ham-fisted.
Barkfoot:
Dat be da karma, mon!
Grimjaw:
I think you will find that Rick is no more ham-fisted than any of the other humans. It is merely a weakness of their race.
Joe:
Well, you got the victory with four touchdowns, but it hasn't gone unnoticed that they managed to send three of your players to the bench, and another narrowly avoided it thanks to the deft touch of your physician. Perhaps you need to toughen up before your next game?
Grimjaw:
Don't confuse toughness and cowardice. My team merely refuses to hide in an armoured shell as they do. We are plenty tough enough for them. If anything, I'm stronger now than when I started. I challenge the humans to play without their armour!
Joe:
Well, there we have it. The proud elves, almost back to full strength under their new captain - and a challenge to the humans! It sounds like the future holds for some great games between the two teams. Maybe even after this, there is still a little bad blood between them? Let's see what Grimjaw can do in the next one!
