The 2 Agile teams lined up expecting some great plays, but a downpour of rain meant it was goind to be hard going.
Spooky Castle pressed hard, but burnt all their rerolls in just a few turns. After a few blocks it was Zoinks who escaped with the ball, but a double skull from a Vermin meant Spooky Castle were not going to stop them.
At the end of the half Scooby-Doo decided to take on the Tree of Zoinks, he passed his Dauntless roll, but double skulls saw him fall to the ground and die, but the apoth was there to save him. However, fairly quickly into the second half he was hit again, and killed again. Such was the shock of this that both Shaggy and Shaggy refused to come out of the KO boxes for the next drive, fearing ghosts.
Zoinks led the game 2-1 with most of the second half remaining, but Spooky Castle, try though they may were just unable to make the pick-up and pass in the last tunr that would have tied the game.
Another fun match and another fun opponent, and one where Scooby-Doo was taken from as, in front of our very eyes ... twice!”
