“Bones & Flesh League
--------------------------------
We Be Rottin' faced the Booze Crew which had a skilled line-up and was stronger on paper. But the resurrected black orcs are doing wonders for We Be Rottin' and smashed out key targets during the match. Blok was a big hero when he scored two casualties on as many turns. First on his own accord, and on the following turn the skilled blocker Ice shattered himself on him completly. (2*double skull, RIP, no regen...that's a tough one).
Before that We Be Rottin' had effectively launched an offensive assault that payed off. While Krash served as foul bait Aerandir carried the ball to the end zone line, where he got tackled down and left the ball to Sart. The newly resurrected player showed that he still got some spark of life in him when he dodged away from a pursuer and scored.
Jxaing and his drunken undeads were close to scoring both in the end of the first half and in the second, but We Be Rottin' had the margins needed to hold them off and cluttered the ball with bodies to prevent anyone from picking it up in the end.
During the entire match both teams had amazing ball handling skills. It took until late in the second half before a single pickup failed.
We Be Rottin' left as winners, with an increased fan base and with lots of money that they don't really have a use for.
Thanks for the match, Jxaing. A tie wouldn't have been unfair, but then again Blood Bowl rarely is fair :)”
