“SWL Season XXII - Premier League - Round 5

This match was a bit of an odd one. Nalavara won the toss, and elected to receive. He had quite a bit of trouble doing any damage, and with a couple of well placed fouls, the Khemri found themselves minus two mummies. From there, the half was pretty much ours. We had little trouble collecting the ball, and took no chances once we had it.

The only down note in the half was Zara knocking herself out in turn 7. Still, we went into half time with a lead, and ready to receive.

Half time score: 1-0

Demoralised by the loss of Zara, we really struggled to do any damage. With four mummies back on the field, they wasted no time putting in some effective hits, knocking out three or four players in the first two turns. We basically ran out of players, and had no chance of stopping a touchdown.

Worst thing is, Zara ran off with the apothecary, so he never even looked at poor Nose Smasha, swallowed by the "Maw of Doom".

For knocking out Zara in the first half. Possibly the most important move of the match. He also got a second KO in on Big Scora early in the second half to help with the numbers.

Inflicted 2 very useful KOs in the second half, and several stuns. Part of the critical play that allowed the khemri to roll up the pitch in the second half.

1 pt - #3 Uyforime "The Maw of Doom"
For inflicting the sole casualty of the match for the Khemri (which also turned out to be a kill). Sure, it didn't really affect the game, but the crowd went WILD!”
