“The Sons scored quickly, showing up the slow Boyz defence with ease, then found themselves in trouble in defence when they lost two players in the opening seconds of the next kickoff (first block a Badly Hurt on a Blitzer, the second block a KO on a Lineman with Guard).
The Boyz brought up the ball carefully whilst the Sons circled, looking for an opening. However, they managed to keep tripping over their own feet and knocking themselves out when trying difficult attacks on the caged ball carrier.
The Boyz eventually carried the ball home for a late TD.
In the second half, the Boyz started in offence but failed to pick the ball up early, allowing 5 Sons to rush through into the Boyz half of the pitch hopeful for another error. However, the Boyz managed to pick up the ball and advance it safely to the line of scrimmage.
From there the Boyz advanced the ball safely whilst the outnumbered Sons continued to try difficult attacks on the ball to end up KOd.
----------
Was a very one sided game in the end thanks mainly to my first two blocks on turn 2. From there, he only had 9 players and shortly after, my blitzer Grok Ironfist without Mighty Blow picked up his second casualty.
Second half was similar with me knocking out his remaining Blitzer with my first block? My opponent only had 8 players against me very soon and he really had no hope unless I rolled some very unlucky numbers.
But full credit to Bendrig who played on in good humour despite his Apothecary failing and my insane rolls against his armour. Not once did he whine or complain. A great coach to play against.”
