“With the Woodies looking to continue their unbeaten start to the season, one of the general managers at the club had hired the services of the infamous Bloodbowl Wizard Balthazar the Beardy. Unfourtunately however this expenditure was not confirmed at the weekly meeting and when Balthazar arrived at the match he was told that he would not be getting paid but thanks for coming. This was not a good idea.

The Theratre had the ball on offence when a fireball sent by the angry wizard sent undead flying everywhere. But when the Elves tried to get the ball players started teleporting all over the field. Zombies were vanishing into thin air and then suddenly re-appearing again. For Balthazar had decided to hold the match to Ransom unless he got his appearance fee as initially agreed upon. With the officials about to call of the Match which had have cost the WDDs valuable points it was agreed upon to fork out the cash.
When the mayhem finally cleared Neil George Wallington found himself in the endzone scoring a first up TD.

The Thearte obviously still a little rattled by the going ons bundled their offence big time. Mork Blackhelm fumbled the ball and with almost zero cover it was easy for Le Franky to clear a way for Mr Murray to dive in a pinch the pill. With the undead caught out of position G.I. leafy had an easy stoll into the endzone to make it 2-0 on the stroke of half time.

The start of the 2nd half was trade mark WOOD. SDK got the kickoff and chucked the ball out to Horse. The rest of the lads provided cover and with the blink of the eye it was 3-0.

With the beyond reach it was a case of salvaging pride for the Theartre. Some good driving play by the two Golems left Billy Blender within striking distance. Some dazzling moves saw the star wolf score a consolation TD just before the buzzer.
