#10 Greener – Smashed Hip (-MA)
#9 'Air' Gordo – Dead (RIP)
When Nidhug's wood elves challenged my ogres I said 'hurr!' and continued drooling. Wait- I'm not the ogre here!

Anyway, the game started very messily for the poor wood elves (despite the fact we could only field 9 greenskins) as the casualties piled up for them. Incensed by a couple of serious injuries at least half the elf team ganged up on an ogre and tried to foul him out of the game. This meant I could keep fouling - hurrah! A brave blitz by the wardancer on the ball-carrying ogre worked but in his attempt to get out of the sideline he fell over. I piled in 3 ogres and 2 goblins and made a +5 injury - double 1s! The only thing that could fail to injure the little weakling! From then on things turned around slightly - I continued injuring the treehuggers but they did well to move the ball around and scored easily that half and again in the second half. At least 'Punchy' Strok'th managed to score a kill on catcher Le Corbusier.

Thanks for the game Nidhug- very hard to beat wood elves but at least we win the fight! :P

#11 Hambali – Smashed Knee (NI)
#11 Hambali – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#2 Le Corbusier – Dead (RIP)
It seems that any attempt to build Woodies vs. bashing teams will walk a winding road.

After an early apo-fail on my niggled thrower the game seemed to be an uphill experience, but an opening arose for my Zarathustra to blitz the carrying ogre, a perfect hit leaving the ogre stunned ensued. Seeing, that he would risk being crowdpushed the dancer made a go-for-it away from the action - of course he fell...

Next turn Clarkin set up for a brutal foul on my wardancer, I was biting my nails, but the gobbo in charge messed it up! This left a wide mark open for a 2d blitz on the gobbo who had the ball and after a pick-up and a pull to the side the possibility to close the first half was at hand.

The second half the ogres were kicking and with only 1 gobbo left (one was killed by a both down block and the other was seriously injured by a brutal throw from a teammate attempting to disrupt the WE TD in the first half) it was easy for the elves to stall the game into a late TD after which the ogres had no chance of reaching the tie.

A great game albeit a little messy for the poor elves - especially the catcher who went down on a 3-pow to kill block, no doubt about how that one hit...

Thanks for the match, it was a good game...
