The match began with a large mass of screaming fans, 90% of them with green skin. At the very beginning, the Sea Drakes rushed forth, shoring up the side, and Calendas, the slippery Lion Warrior, quickly scored a touchdown without much effort.
Enraged, the Orcish crowd streamed onto the turf, knocking out 75% of the my team in a massive Pitch Invasion! It appeared that the Drakes were doomed. However, the Drakes had recently enlisted the aid of a Bright Wizard for the game, and a fireball rained down to scorch a few of the Orcs, in retaliation from the wicked crowd, causing them to fumble the ball. One of the Sea Drakes picked it up, and ran for all he was worth.
After virtually the entire half of the ball going back and forth, Caledor grabbed the skin and ran it to the end for another touchdown! the few Elvish fans in the sidelines went wild.
Enraged, the Orcs knocked out the Elves in the stands, and poured down for a SECOND Pitch Invasion! They were insistant that no pansy Elf team "wot gets 'er trainin' in a boat" would get the best of their team.
And that marked the end of the first half.
Beginning of the second half, an Orc threw a rock, continuing in the general trend, and pegged one of the Drakes.
Following up on this, the Marauders pushed forth, desperately struggling to get on the map. After 6 grueling rounds, the heavily armoured Orc team finally reached the end zone. Most of the Sea Drakes had been knocked senseless.
With two rounds to go, Calendas rushed forward again, supported by a few of the other Drakes. In the last round of the game, Calendas (having been stripped of the ball by a lucky Orc), picked it up and danced off into the end zone for another touchdown to end the game.
The Sea Drakes had never seen a game like it. Against all the odds, they took victory with a decent margin. And they finally gained a few more fans. It was a good match. A very good match.
((Though the luck seems fairly close, it becomes much less so when you take into account the fact that the Pitch was invaded TWICE IN A ROW, both times leaving the Sea Drakes fairly hurting. And after that, there was a rock thrown, to boot! The two pitch invasions in a row was about a 1 in 1300 chance. 2 Pitch invasions for the full game would be about a 1 in 500 chance or so, I figure))”
