“The humans came out smacking us around something fierce, racking up cas and ko like crazy. Alas, it was during this first frenzy of hitting that our star linerat R'ech died, too early to use the apo (which went unused rest of match). Sixty-one games young, 4 skills...sad, sad.

But the humans became cocky with their hitting prowess, making extra dodges/blocks before running the stolen ball down the pitch. A failed dodge, and the rats stole the ball away to score as the first half expired.

Second half was our turn to start bashing away, but the humans still had the ball and much mroe guard than my rats, so it looked likely to become a 1-1 draw. But his ogre became over-eager trying to restart the bashing for his team, threw skulls and allowed a strip-ball intercept for the rats. Too few humans to keep up with our speed, and it was 2-0 rats.

To commemorate the game, our super-star SV Chrassr became crowned a mega-star, and still shows no signs of age! (Passed 126-spp w/o aging.) Pity R'ech, but he was just a linerat after all, and there'll be more rats named R'ech in our future!”
