“Final of the inaugural Scheduled SMACK

The mud brawlers would have been a little more hopeful of victory in this final had reaching it not cost them so very dearly. They were only able to field 3 Saurus, 1 Kroxi and 4 skinks for the match against a full and bloody-minded crew of (cheating) undead!

I started bravely with skinks running up either sideline to give a 'scoring option' while attempting to take out a few undead in the centre, however that ended a few turns in when 2 dirty player fouls had killed them both! REF!!

I attempted to gain my revenge by fouling his prone AG4 ghoul but unfortunately I could only BH the grave-robbing nasty. I then tried the old 'skinky switcheroo' play where I moved the ball to one sideline while keeping a skink central. With no ghouls on the pitch the bummers were nice and slow and led straight into the trap, almost all moving to that side of the pitch. On my next turn I moved the ball over to speedy Kaimazda who sprinted up the sideline but only managed to KO himself in the process!

And so ended my only chance at scoring during the game which became a one-way punch-fest with my lizards at the receiving end! Another undead foul in the second half got the Kroxi killed but fortunately mr apothecary sewed him back up.

In the end Ankhy got the MVP (my only SPPs) very deservedly as he was the only player left on the pitch on turn 16 and was still knocking down undead in a raging frenzy to the very end.
