“Well a death apiece, some dramatic blitzes and a defeat for the Khemri villains, sounds like a great game :D
The Russo v Pras struggle for supremacy continued tonight in true heavyweight fashion. A rare [R] game between these two coaches saw Russo's Orcs score on the offense in the first half, after striking a mortal blow to STR6 Mummy, Dr Mark Sloan II, using the boot of Dave the Rave.
In the second half the Khemri were forced to collect the ball from deep and their slow march forward began. Teh deep kick probably helped the Orcs tremendously as it meant they could defend higher up the pitch and use the Khemri lack of pace and agility against them. In the end the Khemri had to break forward and allow exposure of teh ball carrier and when they failed a skeleton dodge the game was over.
Fun game and tough as ever. Russo now unbeaten in 11 games in this dual and two victories over Khemri too, ensuring his place on Pras's list of "good coaches" ^^^^^^^^^
“A super game, well won to catch me up some in the head to heads!
In the end I would have liked to see whether Karev would get it done or not (he usually does, even under extreme duress), but sadly made THAT movement mistake with O'Malley that resulted in the game-ending turnover.
Such a thing could never happen in tabletop, due to the way the models are moved, but that is not really a good excuse. I need to pay more attention is all ;)
Well done! And I was very happy that two players died, to test our sportsmanship! Note for the future: ENJOY it when you kill! That is your goal! If the other coach don't like it, it's their problem.
