#2 Jedi Iwo Kulka – Smashed Knee (NI)
#13 Steward #224 of Dinante Fli'R – Smashed Knee (NI)
The Moltok sky turned dark overhead. Birds, animals and even a few plants scuttled for cover as an unfamiliar shape blotted out the sun. The Imperial Fleet Commando Star Destroyer was an ominous sight and it lowered the spirits of all the HoM fans who had arrived early to secure the perfect vantage point in the pitch-side trees which doubled as seating for the game. As the opposing team shuttle approached, even the HoM players seemed to lose heart at such a sight.

The moods would change moments later when the shuttle made a forceful landing on the finely manicured turf, carving great gouges in the pristine grassland. Most Ho'Din are keen gardeners, and all are strong environmentalists, so this careless action from the Commando pilot really angered the fans and players alike. The adrenaline was pumping straight from kickoff and the Ho'Din made the most of the feelings. -- Of course, Jedis Iwo and Wuppa did not let this anger control their actions.., much;)

MoH took the opening kick-off and made it 1-0 early on, Iwo Kulka breaking free and passing to Steward 512 for the score. Then with the help of the crowd, they managed to turn over the Commandos and, as they were pressed back almost onto their own touchline, a near full length score on Turn 7 made it 2-0 just before the half ended.., with still no injuries on either side! This time, Iwo Kulka opened up the field with a crucial blitz, allowing Stewards 728 and 726 to combine well , covering half the pitch before hitting Steward 415 with a neat pass and run for the TD.

The crowd seemed please that the unruly visitors had been taught a lesson and had calmed down - This would prove to be costly for the HoM.

Kicking off in the second half, HoM managed an early turnover and just a short while later the scoreline read 3-0. Once more Iwo Kulka was driving the action. Blitzing in his own half he loosened up the ball, then quickly drew support from his team-mates With their help, he carried the ball half the field and then, after a counter-blitz from one of the many Boba Fett lookalikes, Iwo scooped up the ball for a TD of his own.

This time, the score did not come without penalty -- As the celebrations died down, it was noticed that Steward 225 was not moving. He was helped from the field and the crowd were pleased to see him moving his arms and head as he lay on the sidelines. It was not to be the last such moment.

From the Imperials point of view, it had been a bad game. Nuffle seemed to have abandoned them and indeed was smiling upon the Ho'Din. Captain Piett had clearly had enough and was found celebrating the fact that he had caused the injury. Clearly some elements of Sith behaviour had remained from his previous 'job' and was not going to leave easily. Moments later it resurfaced again. Another deft move, another perfect block, another stretcher called onto the pitch. This time was a much bigger scalp... His target was Iwo Kulka.

The Ho'Din played the rest of the match in almost sorrowful mood, whilst the Commandos took the opportunity to raise their game. But just as it looked like Piett might score, the ref ended the game.., and quickly departed to avoid facing the captain's wrath!

Well, the Ho'Din had won this first match, an with a comfortable scorline, but at what cost. Their captain and inspiration, Iwo Kulka bears the scars of the confrontation and may never be the same again. Steward 224 too, irreversibly changed by the encounter, may never play again. Only time will tell.
