#6 Gaudhi DeSedas – Dead (RIP) #13 Tony Hunt – Dead (RIP)
“A brutal wacky game. No other way to describe it. Vikings start with a quad skulls. Raptors score an easy defensive TD. Viking get a KO of a sauras (never wakes up) and a BH of a sauras on a 1d block. Raptors get the ball back and just need a 3+ with RR to score...fail. It is okay, next turn need a 3+ to score...fail. T8, need a 3+ to score....fail. As for the dauntless...did it fail about 50% of the time for the Vikings? Seems close to that...but all the -2d blocks never caused a turnover either...wacky.
1-0 at half and then in second half, triple skull/pow by Kroxigor for a stun on him in turn 1. Then double skulls RR into double push then frenzy 2nd block is double skulls again...turnover allows Vikings to get the ball. They kill a skink...apoth fails. Raptors kill a longbeard...apoth fails. Ball is received and Anita picks it up and sprints away. Scoring on T15 to make it 2-0. However, kickoff and (2 turns left for Viking) Viking push forward to try a score for spp...and kill another sauras. Defense holds. 2-0 is final score.
Good winnings helps, but certainly one of the wackier games where the 1d blocks were all POWs and the 2d blocks were pushes or skulls...just everything seemed a bit backwards.
Well played, see in you in conference play!”
