In a final desperate scheme to win a match the Organized Konfusion spent badly needed funds on a bunch of star players and enrolled yet again in the Orcland Wooden Shield. The conditions looked great with an undead team lacking developed players, but as usual it ended up with another stinging loss.

The goblins weren't unlucky by any means. In the first half their AV rolls were amazing and they put several undead in the casualty box, but they didn't have the margins quite on their side in difference to Cyco who scored both his TD's in the final turn of each half in very uncertain situations.

A blizzard that was in effect throughout the entire match didn't help either, disrupting the goblins chances for a 1 turn TTM TD and claiming a lot of rerolls and turnovers through failed GFI's.

In difference to my many other losses with this team it was a highly enjoyable match though. Where the trolls usually miss their RS rolls and fumble the TTM's the goblins were now often launched in the air, the bomber was a real threat and the chainsaw functioned at least decently. The obvious exception was Fungus the Loon, who came on for 2 turns, ate up 2 very badly needed rerolls, failed to accomplish anything and then got caught by the ref.

Maybe, just maybe, the Organized Konfusion will live to fight another day...”
