“Someone stole our elves and replaced them with mummies! The second half of this game was one of the worst displays of ball handling I've seen. In this game we had a Wood Elf catcher roll a double 1 on a catch, the same catcher roll a double 1 on a dodge attempt, 2 different linemen roll 1's on catch attempts, a Phoenix Warrior roll a double 1 on a pass attempt, and 1's rolled on 3 pickup attempts! Add to that the bloodlusting crowd that threw 2 rocks and invaded the pitch once, and it was truly an ugly game.

“The match was possibly the sloppiest match between two elf teams in the history of the NWL. Both tripped over each other and the field itself. The ball slipped out while being thrown. It was ridiculous. The only reason the Swiftriders pulled this game out was pure luck by the way of a Long Bomb pass reception and a last second scoop and score. Unfortunately, Brandir Ladros didn't survive having is back broken by Swiftrider Team Captain Saetril Swiftrider. Elves never like seeing their kind fall, even if he is a pure blood pompous high elf. ”
