“2nd match, 2nd tie and 2nd blitzer death. wow, i love this team!
they play great elfbowl, failing five 2+ dodging roll (2 of them rerolled and failed again).
Probably nebji could win, he played very well, but didn't get the ball from the field a couple of time.
Waiting the 3rd match, i'm buying a new blitzer, so he can die in his first game.”
“After sleeping on the press conference, the coach of Annoyed Much has come out to face the music.
The game started with the DE receiving the kick-off, but this seemed to be the total of Elf luck, for much of the first half. A turn two pass by the Elves was picked off by the Dwarf Tibor playing much larger than his actual stunty size. This was just the beginning of the bad luck though, as two players who attempted dodges by the elves on subsequent turns both tripped with re-rolls and were injured for the rest of the game. All this while Tibor with the ball slowly made his way downfield to score. This pretty much saw out the first half, as it was on the hole uneventful.
Second half started with an angry Chaos Dwarf fan pegging a stone and stunning the blitzer Turk.
An early block by Il Tod of the DE took out Smithers. It must have been a bit of a nasty shot as he injured his back. The team doctor was sent out, but he turned out to be no more than a Quack and Smithers was carted off the field unlikely to return to the blood bowl field as a player again. The team doctor is now going to be sacrificed before the next match.
The second half showed the ineptitude of the Chaos Dwarfs to grasp the ball as well as the continuing problem of Elves dodging. In the end, the failure to grasp the ball and some timely luck for the dark elves learning how to dodge saw them tie up the scoring.
Late in the game, the Chaos Dwarfs were able to score some revenge for Smithers through the death of the Blitzer J.D. to the dwarf Lenny Leonard.
On the whole, the coach was unhappy with the game on what should have been their first win for the season. Look out Necros, we have a point to prove.”
