“Well what a game. The Rookies came to play. Santa's Crew was stunned at the speed of the Humans and thier ability to strike so fast. 2 turns through a solid D line and a great pass from QB to Weak knee and they were on the board. Santa and the boys promptly responded. After what looked to be scrum in midfield, which lead to Donner being brutalized, Prancer breaks out long and Santa hits him with a long pass for a score. Yet again another 2 turn score by the 3 catcher brigade. These guys eemed invincible. The 2nd half, , Santa rolls out for a quick strike to Cornelius. TD, one score lead. This time the defense was napping during kickoff and saw Running Scared zip right by for another TD. By now Santa is pissed. He takes it upon himself to march the ball up the field. But Waterboy has different intentions for him. Santa gets surfed and has to watch the rest of the turn from the bench. To his amazement though the boys rally. Dancer snags up the ball and throws an amazing pass, while being defended by 2 tacklers, to The King for the score..... the crowd goes wild. tie game again... BUT........ as luck would have it Nuffle strikes the boys down. The rookies strike quick and take out Prancer on the sidelines to tie the game... then what ensues is just pure luck. Kick of, tie game, Defense gets blitz... they pick up the ball and head for the goal line in a tight little box. Vixen and Cupid make a play but all they acomplish is pushing the ball carrier around. One simple dodge and the game is over. What looked to be a sure Draw or maybe a last turn score by Santa and the boys turned out to be anXmas disaster. Congrats to the Rookies on a game well executed and to IchabodIgnatz. He was a fair opponent and will recieve all he asks for from Mr. C for Christmas”
