“Cobra vs 7 boneheaded ogres and 1 boneheaded gobbo!
Things started badly as the ogres blitzed, and what with the pouring rain & slippy ball, cobra just couldn't get it together and eventually bone headed ag4 gobbo Bane got the TD. The brawl for the remainder of the first half didn't work out well for us and at the start of the 2nd half it was 7v9 and still 1-0 down.
However a good kick and a lot of boneheads meant I was able to rush in and swarm the gobbos near the ball and it was looking good for a minute until a gobbo long bomb got the ball to relative safety near a pack of ogres at the LOS. But then an elf-like play by Rotting Flesh got it right back to Ritter Paxxis who ran in the TD that same turn. 1-1 but plenty of turns left for the ogres.
A touchback meant they started with an ogre holding the ball too - disaster! However I was succesful at throwing bodies in around the ogres (more bone-head aplenty as always!) and with a couple turns to go the ball still hadn't left the LOS. On the very last turn they pulled it together and almost made a desperate but stylish TD with an ogre trying to pass to a goblin waiting in the endzone. Luckily it didn't come off for them and we got a draw I'll be happy with!
