On a nice day in front of only 42,000 fans the Executioners battled Rat Dance.

As Rat Dance kicked off, it got Verry Sunny :( The 2 teams battled back and forth for 8 turns. Rat Dance helped the Executioners by fouling their players out of the game, good thing we paid him off before hand. The Executioners finally were able to break free and score on turn 8 to go up 1-0. As the Executioners kicked off, the go the chance to Blitz, but no one was in range :( Half ended 1-0 Executioners.

As the Executioners kicked off to start the 2nd half, they got to rearrange their defense. Rat Dance worked their way down the field and scored on turn 3 to tie the game at 1. As Rat Dance kicked off the kick was bad and went out of bounds. The Executioners gave the ball to I'irild to get his skill with a completion but he failed and the swarm begain with the rats. The 2 teams battled once again for a few turns until the Executioners risked a few dodges, picking up the ball in a tackle zone and passed down field to a waiting receiver, all without a reroll :) The Executioners then scored on turn 8 to go up 2-1 and win the game.

Thanks for game.

The play of the game was throughout the entire first half. U'eldche recieved the ball and started his long run down the pitch. With players from both teams getting knocked down all around him, he himself always evaded any attempt to steal the ball by he Rat Dancers, often witrh only seconds to spare. As the ref went to call half time a well timed "accidental" collision between an Executioner linesmen and the ref stopped him. U'eldche, seeing an opening in the Dance's defence ran through to score the only touchdown of the first half, at the same time as the ref stood up, blowing the whistle loudly, and nursing more than a few sore ribs. This was the best buildup to a touchdown I've ever witnessed.
