With only 9 amazons against a full squad of chaos dwarves I thought this game would be hard to lose - boy was I wrong!!
Candlejack got a great kick to just inside my LOS at the same time as a blitz that let him pile his ladies in and catch his own kick. I covered fairly well but he ran in the TD on turn 3 with 4 dodges by his AG5 dodge-demon Eva Maria Johanna. This put me on the back foot and meant I couldn't quietly punch the ladies out of the game. However I managed to equalise by half time so things looked ok.
It was at this point that I realised my brand new bull centaur had been sitting on the bench like a spare thumb all this time! ... silly me!!

In fact with only 6 amazons to set up for the 2nd half it should have been a cake walk but excellent dodging and a pass to the LOS meant a loose screen kept me from doing anything but putting players by the ball carrier and a simple dodge put the amazons ahead 2-1. Still, plenty of turns and not many amazons- perfectly doable.. Excellent play by candlejack left my ballcarrier sacked again and again- and eventually the girls were able to grab the ball and run and I wasn't able to catch up. When they scored to make it 3-1 the game was deservedly theirs.
