“An interesting game for the Cutthroats saw them emerge 3-0 winners from a game where they were outbashed by the skaven. Dieter Berliner scored in the final turn of the game to seal a useful performance for the humans.

Coach bankai won the toss, but elected to kick in the first half. The ball sailed wide and bounced out of play, before being thrown back to Elga Von Kruppel to start the drive. The Cutthroats moved forward and put pressure on "Rata Monje" a mighty blow stormvermin. The first few turns were relatively close with the humans managing to push their skaven opposition aside without causing any injuries. "Cola Ferrea" managed to badly hurt a lineman, and the Cutthroats KOd a blodge gutter runner with a foul.

Then coach bankai started to retaliate, and as the humans made the ball safe in a cage they proceeded to foul every turn and lose a thrower and a lineman as the referee did some work. Elga strolled in for the turn 8 score. The rats set up deep for the remaining turn, and the human apothecary had to come out to save Dieter Berliner from a niggle.

In the second, the humans kicked off deep and the rats started to bash forwards, using "Rata Monje" in most blitzes. A skull/both down rerolled result left an opening for the Cutthroats and they duly took it as Oli Mehein stole the ball and went for the endzone. As the humans looked to protect the ball carrier, the skaven took to fouling again and badly hurt a blitzer and a lineman. Oli ran in the second with two turns remaining.

Again the Cutthroats booted the ball off, and this time the human fans decided to enact revenge on a dubious referee by tearing him apart.

Coach bankai, obviously smarting from the skaven like way that Oli Mehein had nicked the ball and cheekily scored, looked to bash as many humans as possible and another failed block allowed Cutthroat blitzer Dieter Berliner the chance to smack a gutter runner and steal the ball two yards short of the Mutantes' line. "Rata Monje" did manage to cripple Wilhelm Gestipol who sadly had to retire after the game due to his injuries. Despite getting a gutter runner next to the ball carrier and blitzing with another, the rats couldn't stop Dieter and he scored to end the game.

A decent game in the end, with coach Wilf deciding to retire another lineman with no SPPs to trim the team. A new thrower was also bought in case of injury to the best player on the team at the moment, Elga Von Kruppel.

Thanks for the game bankai, those two blodge gutter runners and two regular gutter runners didn't end up being the threats I thought they might be. Good luck with your team.
