“The Banes kicked off. They pulled off a blitz, and the first attempt to collect the ball by BP was fumbled, however the low speed of the Khemrian players meant that even this didn't cause the ball to become threatened. Instead, BP exploited the low mobility of the Banes Mummies to good effect, switching the angle of attack on several occasions, dragging the powerful players out of position and keeping them away from vulnerable ball-carriers.

In the second half, the Banes were able to pull off a relatively quick (4-turn) touchdown by grinding their way down the pitch. Switching the direction of play worked for them too, as a long line of stunned BP players acted as a wall across the pitch for a crucial turn.

The quick touchdown came with some problems though, as it gave BP another chance to attack, seeking a winning touchdown. The attack went for one flank, then switched to the other, but in the end it was in vain as the ball carrier become stuck up against the touchline. 1-1”
