A poor start by chaos with a pass attempt in the sun that goes nowhere and lets the ladies pile in and get the ball twice. Some good blitz attempts despite all that dodge vs no tackle on our team lets us knock the ball free both times but we cannot pick it up. Somehow manage to cover them enough to stop any serious attacks but it's always a bit dodgy. Finally a lucky turn of blocks after their ball carrier fails a simple dodge lets me get the ball to almost safety and despite losing it for a minute speedy beastman Horned One grabs it and makes a run for the endzone. A great turn by the amazons sees them run someone up to put him in a tackle zone and dodge around to cover anyone who could otherwise reach him. Luckily a desperate 1d blitz and 2 GFIs by him with no RR cover lets him scamper in the 1-0 TD. To make up for that the ladies seriously injure (-ST) a CW in their 8th turn, ouch!

2nd half and we're kicking off 10 vs 7. Lets see if we can win this. The ladies start with a BH on their blitz through on one side and pass the ball right up to their lone (but slightly out of the way) catcher. My desperate blitz isn't enough to reach (slip!) and Miss Understanding runs in the equaliser! Now it's 9 vs 8 and the score is equal. Much harder!

Marquis de Sade picks up the kick and we start our push forward, but a lot of good dodges around puts continual pressure on the CW. Eventually we switch sides and he makes a run through towards the end zone, where he's caught and taken down. Horned One runs in to grab the ball but i'm running out of turns and the amazons are defending well. Eventually get slightly clear but a great 1d blitz by the ladies turns things around, and some dodges lets them throw the ball right upfield - somehow their catcher drops the pass though and gives me a let-off! Our last ditch attempt comes to nothing and the game ends a draw.
