“Lacking both Motson and Gubba for various reasons, the Score were shorthanded even before the game began. The vampires drew first blood when they sent Haugspore out for the match, but the dwarfs effectivly removed enough players from the pitch to gain complete control of the game and could calmly score just before the half ended. The B&S vampires did not help their team much, variously attacking their own players or standing around looking dazed.

In the second half the vamps ran straight into the dwarf wall, and got knocked down hard. They tried a desperate attempt to send the ball carrier off on his own while the rest of the team held the dwarfs back. Alas, they were to few, and the Sons had no trouble knocking the thrall with the ball down and trundle in for another last-second TD.”
