“A tight game, decided only on the 34th turn! The initial kickoff produced a blitz from the Orcsies, which the Lightnings just about managed to resist for long enough to score. Orcsies ground up the pitch for a second touchdown, and at the end of the half Modo managed to wreck the Lightnings dreams of getting through a match with no permenant injuries by attacking a Troll single-handed and getting a himself a niggling injury for his troubles.

The second half started looking like it would look like much of the first had. The Orcsies ground down the pitch to score, but then the amazing speed of Sardines left the scores level again, scoring before Orcsies even had a chance to react. The Orcsies set up again, maybe intending to take their time on this occaision, but then the critical point in the match came. Fabulous Montgomery tried to dodge past Peaches, but the sneaky Gutter Runner was ready, launching herself into a diving tackle to take the Orc's feet from under him and seizing the ball that bounced from his grip. The Lightnings immediately touched the ball down, leaving themselves with a 3-2 lead, despite their apparant handicap in numbers. The Orcsies were looking like they were out for the count, with only 1 down left to score in, when contraversially the referee called for some injury time to be added on! The extra seconds were enough for yet another Orcsies touchdown, but then the stage was set for yet another fantastic solo touchdown for Peaches. Running the entire length of the field in the time it took for the referee to put the whistle to his lips, she secured a shock 4-3 victory for the Lightnings.”
