#3 Sir Marklar – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#3 Sir Marklar – Smashed Knee (NI)
The Rats entered the match pumped their old rivals the Dead Boys having a much weaker team compared to the last time they faced off against each other. The bookies were favouring the Rats too with 2 past matches against the Dead Boys safely tucked under their belts the Rats had an air of confidence. However everyone loves an underdog and even Grint Eastwood the Star Ghoul was totally ready for the match up with the will of ironman he strode through the pain of his niggle and was ready to kick some furry behind.

His infectious optimism affected the whole team King Rathor playing a blinder and Sir Falcon sneaking a set of knuckledusters on pitch to aid his teams hitting power! The gods were smiling on the Dead Boys too and the Rats had left their shoulderpads at home, the KO’s and CAS were coming thick and fast.

Azures Rat Ogre (Who never fares too well against the Dead Boys) once again became a CAS picking up a serious injury and although the team apothecary saved his furry ass the very same turn he was fouled out of the match and back into the serious injuries box!

The touchdown trail was an interesting one with the Dead Boys kicking in the first half and the Rats having a broken run to the End Zone. The pressure applied by the Dead Boys forced the TD midway through the half and with 4 turns to score the Dead Boys received. Pushing slowly up field the Rats making every attempt to hamper the three ghouls in their mission towards the end zone.

Finally! in T8 the Dead Boys proved they had the ability and hit the end zone to level the score for the half. With the Dead Boys receiving in the 2nd the Rats looked worried and the Dead Boys set out all guns blazing dumping more and more of the fast furry fiends into the KO box clearing the path.

With their dangerously depleted numbers the Rats were on the ropes the remaining players tied down by the Dead Boys zombies and mummies. The Ghouls picked their moment and because of the pesky pushback one turn scoring antics the Rats have become famous for the Dead Boys held on to the last! T8 going 2-1 up...

The Rats setup for their last turn and sure enough the Gutter Runner made an appearance on the front lines... The Count was biting his nails and thankfully the pushing antics didn’t payoff and the game finished off 2-1 to the Dead Boys giving their season campaign a great boost and proving that Azures team of mental rats are not unbeatable!!

Great game and Azure put a brave smile on in the face of some great handicaps and brutal injuries. Thus the grudge between these two charismatic teams grows ever stronger!
