“A quite amazing game with the most TDs in the RRC so far. What happened?
First, the Kalte Alriks managed to get the Ball save, and caged their way into the Raiders half. At turn 4, they decided to go for the Touchdown- and made id. It was only two turns later, when a Raiders catcher managed to escape his marking players and catch a pass from somewhere near the line of scrimage, standing right in the endzone. 1-1
The last two turns, no team was able to get another touchdohn.
At halftime, it was not only 1-1, but also one of the wolfes missing becaouse he got badly hurt, and soon after the kickoff, the other wolf player decided it was time to join him there, blocking a guy to get badly hurt, too. We questioned an apothecarian later, he told us there were no really injuries, but a good fake from Alrik Drauhagen- that might have cost the whole game.
Despite this fact, the ghoul called Alrk Zinnenturm managed to make a touchdown at turn 5, getting the score up to 2-1 for Kalte Alriks, but being outnumbered after a blitz from an Ogre and outran by three attacking catchers, the rest of the team was not able to stop the Raiders from scoring again in turn 7, to a delicious 2-2 draw.
Nothing could change this draw in time, so the ref called overtime.
With the wight Alrik Mauerbrecher, who decided to rest a little, there were three players missing from Kalte Alriks, against a full team of 11 Raiders.
And again, the Ogre managed to get a player out- another badly hurt one, this time Alrik Vielesser, a Zombie. Roumors are he grabbed a thrown goblin fan when passing the stands and just was true to his name and have a great meal, what other explanation could we get for a Zombie, whos even half rotted, to get "hurt"? With all Players tied up, Alrik Treublatt, first scorer of the game, tried to wrestle free- and got tripped up. No one could stop the touchdown anymore.
Getting the sleeping wight back, there semed to be the glint of a chance- until Jermain, the Raiders only thrower, decided it was time to sacrifice and blocked Alrik Treublatt with a risky charge, with the result to stun both, and the Ogre (again) getting a player out- this time a Zombie. Amazingly, he twisted the zombies foot halfway round, making it impossible to walk anymore until its turned right again-and noone knows if this might twist back to this position at some bad time.
In Ball possession, the Raiders managed to get deep into the Alriks half, while the next try from Alrik Zinnenturm to stop them failed, when the Ogre tripped him up, and soon after he KOd himself in a last, devastating effort to hold a 2-3.
In turn 6, at last the Raiders scored the match-deciding 2-4, withno chance for Kalte Alriks to catch up.
A Enjoyable game, and we look forward to see the next Raiders game coming soon in this tournament, and the next Kalte Alriks game, which sure is to come!”
