The Banes received first, and the critical moment in the match came on their second turn, when Far, Wolter Greatest's (WG) star Mummy, was seriously injured by a blitz from Inamunnifnebu. From there, the Banes were able to take control of the half and wait until turn 8 to score, fouling WG liberally to improve the odds in the second half. The fouling killed... errr... 'irretrevably disorganised' the WG Mummy Jens, and rendered Mor, another Mummy, unconcious.

The second half consisted of WG ignoring the ball and attempted to take vengeance on the Banes. Their only success was forcing Nectanebo, one of the Banes' Mummies to miss the next game, while the Banes managed to 'irretrevably disorganize' a Skeleton, Soster, and smash the ankles of Mike, reducing his speed for the rest of his career. In the mean time, the Banes ran in three more touchdowns, leading to a 4-0 victory.”
