Good Day Sport Fans,
It is your report once again reporting on this game between Ripping Yarns an Orc’s team and a new team on the block Blackspine Barbarians which are Dark Elves.
Both teams start the game in high spirit, but the game was held up by the Dark Elves playing about with the Dark power before the game start so all the power at the stadium went off one or three times before the game got under way teams on the field of play then off the field of play then back on the field then back off the field, the ref was getting dizzy from all of this going on and the fans where howling and weeping in the stands.
Once the game started it was the Dark Elves kicking off and got the brake by getting a BLITZ at the start then getting a TD and starting again with yet again BLITZ a call from the Orc’s team come Ref come Ref play the game, the Orc’s did not have the Gods of the dice on there side today rolling double skulls two time and not having a re-roll left to use at all.
The Orc’s got the score back to one all at half time, then in the second half was out played by the Dark Elves so at the end of a very good game 2 Vs 1 TD to the Dark elves Blackspine Barbarians team there first win.
Can the Blackspine Barbarians go on to win more games let use wait and see?

My first match, and a very tight win for my new team.

The Elves' fabled agility didn't serve me too well, as my thrower managed to fumble an easy pass twice, and a lot of my players tripped and fell when running. I also had a pretty bad time with my blocking, as Morraine Keth the Witch Elf failed to do anything except get blatted to the ground every turn. She had one frenzied moment in the second half, but otherwise I could have saved the money and got another Blitzer or Lineman.

Luck was on my side with the kick-off rolls, although I failed to make good use of them. I made quite a few beginner mistakes during the game, like consistently forgetting to stand my players up, and doing risky, dice-based, actions before the safe ones, leaving me out of position a number of times when the rolls went sour. Honestly, I think I was lucky to win, taking advantage of some bad rolls from my opponent, and a rare weak spot in his lines, to slip through for the touchdown.

My opponent Colin had sound tactics, and kept me on my toes throughout the match. He played an aggressive and intimidating game, and I wasn't able to spread out across the pitch as my players were almost always flattened or stuck in a web of tackle zones. The Orcs were focused and strong, and as I said above, it's only luck that opened up the lines enough for a bit of flashy Elvish dodging to win the game.

I'd also like to thank my opponent for easing me into my first game, pointing out my mistakes and encouraging me when I did well. I had nightmares of my first opponent being a right sneaky git and taking advantage of my inexperience, but Colin was a joy to play against.
