In their final warm up match before the Fumbbl Tour starts, the Scroin Mercs were challenging dwarves and chaos dwarves to no avail before eventually some brave amazons accepted the match!

We start with a terrible kick and the ladies swarm up one side with the ball in hand but get swarmed by almost my whole team who knock the ball down and (eventually) pick it up. 2 amazons are thrown into the (gentle) crowd in the brawl around the ball. Good 'zon blitzing frees the ball again but Burvegg shows off his rookie skills by grabbing the ball and then going out of his way to show off by dodging unnecessarily! The crowd goes mad! The amazons can't get enough ladies free to take him down and he relentlessly runs up the pitch to score his first ever touchdown. (In the meantime the ladies' apothecary has been brought onto the pitch - successfully reviving the dead and preventing Jusken Timb'rrlak from notching down his first kill!)

Another side rush is fortunately stopped by star centaur Hgurf's lone blitz and the half comes to an end with no changes to the score, though another amazon is thrown into the crowd who gently crowd surf her back to her reserve box. Where are the murderous fans we paid to be here!? Ahem. I mean where are the usual maniacs who turn up?

The second half kicks off the with a touchback straight into rookie centaur Burvegg's hands. Can he score again? A horde of 5 amazon ladies gather around The Big Green Menace (Troll) who was spearheading the attack, dragging him down then gang-fouling him! Oh the humanity!? Trollanity I mean! Where is the REF? The very next turn the ladies jump on him again! Wait- the ref is wearing their colours!! Fortunately the menace hardly notices and continues lumbering around doing nothing for the rest of the match (his normal 'role')

Meanwhile Burvegg has broken through with the ball but has been bravely taken down by a pair of the amazons. A brawl ensues where eventually the amazons make an amazing series of dodges, a blitz, a daring pickup + dodge and then a long pass that they can't quite make. Still instead of the ball being beside their endzone surrounded by 3 of my players it's out in the open near their players. Fortunately Burvegg once again saves the day with his dextrous pickups - surely now he can score his 2nd TD? And he does so with ease when an amazon fails to dodge away from a tackling dwarf. Hooray Burvegg!! 2-0!

Another bad kick lets the amazons run right up one side with ease forcing desperate defense attempts from the dwarves. Luckily the amazons are out of rerolls by now and it's enough to stop their TD attempt - the game ends without further incidents needing the ref's attention.

Thanks for the game Gisaku!
