The knights got off to a suburb start, with Squire Newman removing the wretched troll from the game on the initial push with some dastardly tactics. Runner Emerson danced out of a tight spot to make it past the line of beasts. The move distracted them from Runner Agustin, who had the ball and managed to score easily. Sometime during the run, Fongknuckle managed to trip up a particularly nasty beast attempting to leave his grasp. The beast flailed as it fell to the ground, twisting in a way in which it fell and broke it’s neck! At the time the fate of the beast was uncertain, but the knights later learned that it had died a horrible wailing death in the locker room.

After the first touchdown, Squire Newman realized that he knew the referee from his days as a child in Bangort. For the rest of the half the referee turned a blind eye to Newman’s underhanded doings, which allowed more beasts to fall under his boot. At halftime the referee had been exposed for his inaction and replaced, but not before the once strong chaotic horde had been reduced to just five members.

Even in the second half the beasts seemed forsaken by their foul, false god. Beasts would push and claw at the knights, only to be laid out on their backs shortly after. One of their armored warriors also suffered an injury after being tripped up. Those not seriously injured were unable to be revived and remained off the pitch for a majority of the game. A beast would pick up a ball, only to be mauled by a knight shortly after. All the while the knights took advantage of the lopsided numbers, piling on three more touchdowns before the end of the game. It does indeed seem as though Sir Gabriel’s heroic effort in the previous game has inspired the team to great heights.
