“1st Half
Beautious Beasts get the ref and the Rats are worried

The whistle sounds and they face off on the Line of Scrimage.

The kickoff goes deep and Beastmen start pushing back on the LOS, knocking down several rats, stunning Helkitch the Decrepid. Rixenda knocks out Modake Patch with a big hit, and the Rats start to get nervous. Then Mhairi notices the ref's distraction and sinks the boot into Remite the Cauteriser stunning him.

The Rats decide running away is the best strategy and charge off towards the ball, deserting the LOS. This sudden change of play causes Beastmen Layla fumbled the pickup, and the Rats swarm the ball knocking down Twiggy. Bubonost Cyst tries to block Mhairi but his fear-induced shaking causes him to miss completely landing on his snout! Oh what a miserable attempt at a block.

With the area now clear, Layla scoops up the ball and throws an incredible pass to Miti who trots towards the endzone. Helkitch the Decrepid dodges away from his tacklers and tries blitz Miti. He trips, and impales himself on Miti's horn! He is dragged off the horn and onto a waiting stretcher. His match is over, and the Rats are down another man (rat?).

Miti pulls up just short of the endzone, and the beastmen seeing how close she is to scoring break into a frenzy of blocks taking down several more rats. Completely disheartend, the rats are unable to throw even the weakest of blocks. The beastmen push them back into their own half and proceed to pound them mercilessly. Finally Remite the Cauteriser and Bubonost Cyst drag themselves to their feet and run after Miti who stands there and laughs at them before stepping over the line to score.

The Beastmen are so pumped with their score that they manage to blitz the Skaven offence on the restart. Twiggy charges Modake Patch and the sound of cracking skulls echos around the stadium. Modake Patch is badly hurt and dragged back towards the dugout whilst Twiggy falls back stunned. What a HIT! The Skaven are so completely shattered that Bubonost Cyst manages to miss his block and fall over again. Surely Nuffle is laughing at them.

Miti surges forward and grabs the ball heading toward the endzone, but over-extends herself, trips over the line and fumbles it. Vectigen Puss dashes back to grab the ball but Miti's drool makes the ball slippery and he fumbles as well. In disgust the Ref blows the whistle to end the half.

2nd half
The second half again sees the Rats getting dominated early from the LOS, with Thrikch Tumour failing miserably in his block attempt. The beastmen surge forward driving deep in the Rodent half to lay eyes on the ball. It seems this run, along with the potent fermented huice they consumed at half time, are spurring the rats onward. They tackle hard to open up the line of scrimmage, allowing Bubonost Cyst to hand off to Threek Wart and send him charging through into the Beasts' half. Finally they get the ball into forward motion!

But the Beasts end that thought with Twiggy blitzing Threek Wart to stun him to the ground and spill the ball free! Several more rats fall to stunning blocks, and it looks like their drive is over. They fight back, pushing the beastmen around but no inflicting any damage. Even Remite the Cauteriser has trouble picking up the ball, and fumbles it right in front of the rushing beastmen.

The beastmen clean house and all but two rats are sent sprawling to pitch, and Miti again runs deep towards the endzone ready to receive a pass. Unfortunately Mhairi has issues handling the slippery, bload-soaked ball and it slides out of her grasp.

The skaven slowly drag themselves back to their feet, and Threek Wart makes a daring move - pushing back Layla he dodges away from Mhairi, scoops up the ball and heads for the endzone. Oh no! He's tripped and falled, stunning himself on hard pitch. The ball spills towards the sidelines as the beastmen again open up with some heavy blocks against the still staggering rats. Mhairi chases the ball down, but still struggles to get a good grip on it. At least she kept it out of the crowd!

The Skaven are still too shaken to do anything but throw a few blocks, and the beastment surge back towards the ball. Mhairi makes another attempt to grab the ball, bundles it up tight and charges back towards the LOS. But wait - she's tripped over the still-prone body of Remite and fallen down. The ball is loose again! I can hear one of the other coaches laughing behind me. Something about Hippos and ice skating.

The rats see their chance and Vomule Poxx races forward to scoop up the ball and head towards the line. Ulcolk of Fester Spike throws a nasty block and sends Rixenda to the dugout, ending her match. The rats continue to throw heavy blocks, knocking down the beastmen. Bubonost Cyst knocks out Samantha, and the rats have the numbers advantage again.

Not content to see the match slip away, Layas charges towards Vomule Poxx, hits him hard and sends him sprawling. Miti charges forward in support, but Blistislik Poxx, seeing his brother get hit, manages to turn Miti's block and send her sprawling. The rats are fighting back. Remite, Vomule and Ulcolk all charge Layas, nocking her down, and Threek sweeps in, turning a fumble into a deft flick of the ball straight to Ulcolk!

The Beasts race towards Ulcolk and Layas, trying to block his run to the endzone. But it looks like there's too many Skaven in the way. Twiggy's charge gets pushed aside and Vomule Poxx lays a wicked hit into Layas. It looks like he's smashed her hand up pretty good. The apothecary shakes his head, knowing that that hand is just never going to be the same again! Ulcolk looks back over his shoulder, sees the carnage and struts - yes, you heard my right sportsfans, this rat is STRUTTING into the endzone - for a touchdown. That ties the game folks.

The final snap is nothing more than a formality it seems - both teams too sore and sorry to cause much more damage to each other.

What an incredible turn of events for the Rodents. Just when it seemed Nuffle had deserted them and their luck had disappeared, it came back in droves. They managed to snatch a draw from what looked like a runaway win for coach ^Spyrer^. But Coach ^Spyrer^ shouldn't feel too hard done by, as he takes home twice the purse that Coach Rogue received!
