“Marvel scored in turn 1 with there Gutter runner. (sure valid tactic, but damn boring as well if you ask me.)
The AV’s 7 proved to be thougher then AV 9 in this game, so also no edge there for the Orc's.
After 4 more turns the Red Orc’s Rage could have scored if they didn’t fail a GFI (double 1) to move into the end zone.
So the chaos Pact team showed some nice ball handling moves and brought the ball 20 squares to the other side in 1 turn!!!! a sure 2nd TD for them after one more turn.
The Red Orc’s Rage desperately fouled a Ogre.. but with +6 on the AV roll .. that failed as well.
So it became 2-0, but not before SI’ing a Orc thrower. Two turns later an other lineorc went BH.
By a miracle the Orc’s still managed to score 2-1 in turn 8 (lucky dice!!),
The 2nd half the Orc’s received, but with only 8 players vs 11 on the field the odd’s didn’t look good. But a Black Orc from the Chaos Pact was BH’ed.
Dodges failed for the Red Orc’s rage (stand firm to cover that failed dice) and the Chaos Pact team breaking often the Orc’s AV’s stunning players often.
A long bomb pass from Orc thrower Destey th a blitzer in the open even allowed the orc's to tie the score in turn 5 of the 2nd half.
3 more turns for the chaos pact team to tie the score… but the Red Orc’s Rage actually got a blitzmove! Would the luck change in the last 3 turns?
I quickly found out it didn’t: the Troll was stupid, with Pro, he just escaped that.. but his block, two skulls made an abrupt end to the blitzmove. Nuffle is really playing with me in this game…next turn I needed a GFI to be able to block the ball carrier, but you guessed it.. 1 on that GFI as well (used my RR on a dodge to make that blitz.)
Stalling in turn 7 Chaos pact made sure they would win this game: 3-2 he scored in turn 7.
Thanks for the game poi66, you played a good match (if I only made that GFI for 1-1 :-))! ”
Barashs coaching skills are way beyound mine (after 200+ matches I still consider me as a newbie), but the luck was brutal on my side most part of the game.
To the oneturner: yes it is boring, but it is good to have one... (-; - also am I not making the mistake and let the oneturner make the hole job done. Such a tactic weakens the rest of the team, and they will have a hard time when the quick fellow dies, as he will for sure, sooner or later...
For me the match was interesting and thrilling - also an honor to play some of the "legends" coaches.
Thx again and the best for the further tourney!”
