“Sigh - same old story - game starts with a Blitz! against me, then a failed RR pickup. Still managed to score. Goofed at the end of the 1st half when I failed to notice it was turn 8 and didn't go for the score that turn.
Whatever George lacks in tactical nous - and that's quite a lack - he made up for in blocking and fouling. Once he had the numerical advantage, I'm surprised I was in the game right to the end, at which point my High Elves dropped catches and missed a pickup, while the Ghouls showed them how to play - with no RRs, either.
Anyway, good game, and some nice skill rolls (+Ma on Aphros Falconeye, and Guard on Maeros Brightmail) to balance out the loss of another player to a niggle.

Sorry about that - I guess I'm just getting frustrated with such poor luck. I suppose your tactic of gaining a numerical advantage is every bit as valid as going after the ball.
I still think your play could do with a lot of improvement, but it's not personal, it's an honest observation. You took needless chances and wasted rerolls on unimportant blocks when you should have made the game safe - with better luck, I would have won (especially if I hadn't forgotten turn 8, 1st half).
I'm going to chill the rest of today - if I'm getting this worked up over some pixels, I've had enough for today.
“Heheh, whatever gets you through the day mate :)
Bad day, no sleep, plenty of luck for a change, and some well timed fouls.
No need to get personal with it, im sure on my day i'd give you a run for your money tactically, and who knows, maybe still win?
Fouling is a part of the game, and if your an elf player playing an undead side, i wouldnt act so surprised when it happens.
Best of luck with the team, and if you want a like for like rematch some day, ill oblige, anyway, i dont mind winning when I play bad. Luck is too fleeting to whine about it when you *do* have it :)”
