“Well I lost the match through some bad dice first half, and a few sub-optimal plays, but then scoring was never my intent. After my opponent was being insulting to everyone in chat, then sneak hiring to get up 30 TS, and taking 10 minutes just to complete his starting setup, my goals changed somewhat. Taking 5 minutes on every turn and the constant whining and trash talking just confirmed my earlier decision.

Two dead Troll Slayers and a broken +AG Runner... Objective completed, in style.

Response to the outright lies in his game report:

Wow. Just wow... Where to begin? EE and I had played once before, where I'd outscored and outcas'd him (but that was an even match so I guess it wasn't fair), and promptly blacklisted him afterwards for his abusive behaviour. The same behaviour he's shown again. My fault for not checking my lists.

I entered chat to find him insulting everyone in the channel, a conversation I had no part of, so his claim that he 'responded in kind' is false. He was also complaining that nobody would play him (I wonder why?). I promptly offered him a game, though several other people had to point that out to him since he was too busy typing. I guess that 'crippling arthritis' doesn't prevent him typing insults at a furious pace, only moving a mouse during games.

Since I was hosting, I reloaded his roster as I usually do, and sure enough I spotted a sneak hiring of a Star Player. I then went back and hired a Wizard before starting up the game. You saw the rosters, you know when you hired, so while the rest can be excused as whining, we both know you're flat out lying about this. I guess it's just easier to avoid responsibility if you claim to be the victim.

Nobody ganged up on you. For some bizarre reason you decided to insult all of Fumbbl. Is it any surprise they all responded. You can't hit someone and then complain when they hit you back.

My luck was pretty awful that game, with a ridiculous number of boneheads and double skulls, and snakes on all but 2 dodges. If you check you'll notice that all my cas that game were from failed dodges. I'll admit that the cas that were rolled were a little harsh, with RIP's on almost all of them, but for the number of times I knocked you down you were actually lucky that there weren't more.

You're hardly 'the new guy' since you've been here 7 months and played over 100 games, and it wasn't 'my mates and I' ganging up on you. Half the people in chat with you I don't even recognize, you just managed to piss that many people off. At no time did I say anything disparaging to you, despite your constant insults during the game and accusations that I was cheating. I especially enjoyed your claiming that the dice were rigged in favor of supporters, til I pointed out that I wasn't one.

This is some sincere advice, and whether you take it or not is up to you...
Right now, there is a large and growing group of people who will never play you, based solely on the way you've behaved. Grow up. Stop whining, stop insulting everyone, stop blaming others for your own failings, and most of all stop lying when you get called on it. Talk to people in chat and be polite and friendly. Emphasis on polite. If you do all that, then eventually people might forget your behaviour over the last few months and you'll be able to get games.

After watching EE insulting everybody in chat as "cowards" I knew I had to watch this one. Unfortunately I had to run off to play a match of my own just as ExquisiteEvil was in the 3rd minute of setting up his team for the kickoff.... However I had my whole game finished by the time they were on turn 6. I got back in time to witness one of the most appaling displays of poor sportsmanship I have ever seen on here (so bad that I asked Ameranth to let me write this for the match report). EE was repeatedly rude and whiny for no reason and several times accused Ameranth of having a hacked client. All credit to Ameranth because he kept his cool and simply killed the 2 Troll Slayers and -AG'd the runner in T16. Grats Ameranth on just being able to make it through one of the slowest, most unpleasent matches ever.”
