“Man this was a tough one, with no love lost between the two sides despite their similar origins.

The luck-ometer puts me at 62%, but it really didn't feel like that as Jacke waltzed through my armour with ease.

I kicked and set about moving up the pitch. I managed to KO a ghoul with Hairsute, which was a decent start.

Then the retaliation started. Infected Winners KOd one of my zombies in retaliation and fouled Igor off the pitch with a dirty player. Hmmm. It was to get worse though as despite me taking revenge and badly hurting a ghoul, again through Hairsute, Jacke managed to kill the ghoul Macabre with a humble zombie and follow it up by KOing wight Mindy.

All of a sudden I was down to 7 and it wasn't looking that good. Scrappy Doo KOd a zombie, and Infected Winners replied with a KO of their own. Down to 6. At this stage I couldn't make a block or a dodge, but despite the opposition getting the ball in the hands of a wight, I was able to GFI with zombie and blitz with Juggles to prevent a score. 0-0 half time.


In the second half, one of my KOs turned up, and all of Jacke's did. It was 8 versus 11, and not looking pretty. Juggles threw the ball to Scrappy Doo, who handed it straight back to him. I pushed a few people around and made my tentative way up the pitch.

The 8 was soon 6 as another zombie seriously injured Hairsute (oh for regen!) and KOd a zombie. Fortunately, Jacke decided to ignore the ball and had concentrated on removing Hairsute from the pitch. Juggles was able to dodge past the two flesh golems and into opposition territory.

The game was split into three areas - my ghoul, a wight and a zombie in the Infected Winners half at the top; my flesh golem and another wight in opposition territor to the bottom and a zombie and Scrappy Doo tying up the flesh golems in the middle.

Through some careful dodging Juggles was able to run clear to 1 square from the endzone and with people dropping like flies decided to stall, with the help of Scrappy Doo. Jacke made several attempts to blitz the ball carrier, but Juggles' blodge helped out and a couple of failed GFIs prevented him. Scrappy had just enough time to badly hurt another ghoul before Juggles strolled over the line for the win.

No further damage was caused in the final Infected Winners turn, and I earned a paltry 20,000 for all my hard work. It finished 6 against 9, so I was pleased to get a win out of that.
