Fellowship of Mordor II - Round 6

Handicaps in my favour were Doom & Gloom and Iron Man.

1st half I received... and I made very good ground in the 1st half, KOing the Ogre (for the rest of the match!) and seeing off not one but two seriously match threatening catchers... and then right at the end of it, Cord, the human thrower with accurate died after a well place boot... All in all it was tough on the human team... but they didn't do too bad themselves causing plenty of injuries... however the first 4 of them all regen'd... very fortunate for me! Although I scored early the humans couldn't come back to level. 1-0.

2nd half
The humans put up a brave fight, but they lined up with 8 or 9 players... but despite their few numbers they still managed to put undead off the pitch... but it was too late... several pairs of skulls later and Azure had to watch as the undead recovered the ball and put it out of danger.

Thanks for the gamemate - probably be more even next time we meet... Good Luck against those sickeningly goody goody forces of light!

#6 Cord – Dead (RIP)
#11 Scar – Broken Ribs (MNG)
#11 Scar – Smashed Knee (NI)
A darn fine game today by a quality opponent. Our apothecary was taken out and shot after the game...his possessions given to the now retired Scar that he failed to save.

Overall, our boys fought well - inflicted 4 CAS and a KO in first half...but all 4 CAS were regenerated. In return, we lost both dauntless catchers and a thrower. However, the blows from the undead were powerful...no KO could wake up (0 for 3) and the ref clearly was against us (ejected on only foul). A series of misfortunate put us shorthanded and still, we were close. In the first half, our pass was intercepted by a zombie (still needed 3+ throw, 3+ catch) and in the second half, we failed a 3+ handoff that would have also tied the game.

We had our opportunities - but in the end, it was the Minions of the Swamp that *made* the plays where we came up short. We tip our hat to an excellent job done by our opponent! Well done, and next time we will look forward to getting our revenge :)
