“The Storm started the match in possession and appeared to have the early advantage when a riot took almost the entire first half to quell leaving them with just enough time to score but not for the Boyz to reply.
However, the Boyz defensive line was strong and only one Storm player was in a position to possibly score on a desperate long bomb attempt. However, Storm Thrower Asmodean Othniel tripped over his own feet trying to run into throwing range and caused himself a serious injury!
In the second half, the Boyz started with the ball, and advanced the ball slowly up field in a cage as they blocked lamely to keep themselves under pressure (I rolled 3 double skulls in my first 7 or 8 blocks).
The cage was too strong in the end despite the Storm managing to knock the ball loose on one occasion with a leaping Blitzer but it was not enough to stop the Boyz from scoring the winning TD.
------------
A fun game against a fun opponent. The turn 6 riot was a shame as it denied both of us time to get SPP. In the second half, I rolled a lot of double skulls to keep my opponent in the hunt but it was not to be in the end.”
