“Semi-final of Middenheim Challenge 1/08

G-Town Harlots have gotten used to having the odds against them. It's something you is likely to take for granted when you have lived a life as a street walker or stripper. The road to the semi-final was mostly rough uphill struggles, not to mention last month's atrocious result against Scrubs For Life.
The match against Gaia Lemnos started much the same as the rest. Exotica was killed on the very first block of the match and by turn 3 the team was down 3 players...and from there it kept going. What looked like yet another hideous dice rape left the team with 4 or 5 players left on the pitch when Melmoth's ladies comfortably walked in their TD. Fouling while the ref had the eye on them etc. didn't seem to bother them much. G-Town Harlots didn't succeed with much more than niggling Mithrawien with a fireball.
In the second half things turned better though. The Harlots punched back and especially Dirty Harriet looked fired up, after having been saved by the apothecary in the first half. To make things even better Melmoth's wizard turned out to be a dud. Despite being 8 vs 11 the Harlots managed to run in an equalizer. But with so few people left they didn't have the strength or energy to hold the opponents off, and one might be of the opinion that they used their perfect defense in a quite cowardous way.
Nuffle wouldn't let the Harlots off the hook though. A -FF despite 1 TD and 5 casualties brings the team back to FF 6.
Congrats to the win, Melmoth. And I really did get pissed off that you found my foul to get a 3+ dodge instead of something harder to be a spite foul. I'm mr freaking anti-spite fouls. I have had people asking me to foul them and turned it down. Good luck in the final!”
