#7 Teresa Banks – Broken Ribs (MNG) #8 James Hurley – Dead (RIP)
“2nd game between the teams.
Handicaps for elfs MORLEY'S REVENGE (1, unskilled black orc, doesnt strike at all) and EXTRA TRAINING.
We win the tos, start on offense.
---
Poor handicaps for elfs, very poor, but they get a blitz, and position 7 players around the ball. Still, they dont catch it and it turns into a touchback. Turn1 and we dont get anyone down at first, but KO the two last ones. However, so do they!! (without mb or anything) and then kill our star player James Hurley with a foul (apo fails). That pretty much wins them the half, especially since blocking dice isnt mine today, they get the ball one a onedicer, KO one of my black orcs on a two against, etc. Worst thing is they do a unnecessary spp-farming pass turn7 in spite ot sun, and roll double2, without rr last turn they still pick up the ball. Shame, foolish lucky plays like that should be punished ;).
One of each's teams dirty player remain KO and a unskilled blitzer for them. We get perfect defense but it doesnt even cost them a rr to get away from all my tackle players. Then, with 7-8 blocks we get one elf down, and have to use a rr to not cause an early rr. We get a foul on one of their st4 players. Roll 1+1. Elfs respond with a block roll 6+6+6+5 = Seriously hurting one of our blitzers. Shortly after our last blitzer is badly hurt and their isnt much we can do. They then do a completely meaningless onediceblitz on my dirty player (without any chance of fouling him), but of course, they get a pow. They can play with with us for a while, but then do a risky and rather unnecessary dodge and drop the ball. We get itm but he just blitzed him down with one of his st4 players.

It might sound that luck decided this game from the report, and that is partly true. Our armour broke much much to easy compared to theirs, and when they got all our 3 blitzers injured there wasnt much to do. On the other hand, I did mistakes - for instance: I didn't really defend my blitzer James Hurely in spite of feeling that the foul would come, instead i relied on the apo healing him - especially since he had failed me 3 times in a row prior to this game. Finally, all in all, a good and bloody and fun game this was. Next time I will try to play better and hopefully get my orcs to behave like orcs.

Note to myself - these elfs are dangerous, bash them bash them, and bash them some more :). ”
