“WIL Dragon Conference VIII - Round 4

With my next opposition being Purplegoo's Necros who were clearly leading the tournament, it was Tesifonte's team who had been given strict instructions to soften my girls up for him.

Fortunately for me, Tesi had no Tackle... ironically the girls had more tackle than his orcs... Accusations of some of the girls not actually being girls have been made... However the press were invited in to the team shower after the match... strangely none of the press could back up the story... infact, a few of them haven't been able to write anything since... instead they have a dreamy look on their faces!

Anyway, back to the match...

Tesifonte hired Nobbla and his chainsaw, which stayed around for a full 8 turns. The girls received and scored first, but their numbers were reduced quickly... but they did manage to hold off an orc equaliser, more by Tesi's bad luck than any skill on my part. 1-0

The 2nd half saw the girls really up against it with lack of numbers... but a rock in the face saw off one Orc Blitzer, and Nobbla had eventually been spotted by the ref. Kitten was put on her back and a filthy orc stuck his boot in... RIP!... forunately the apoth was on hand to restore her to full health, and even a brief manicure...

The orcs were getting desperate to score, and they left themselves exposed to a counter when their ball carrier spilt it. The game finished 2-0, with just enough cash to hire another linewoman and more importantly Zara for the game vs Goo's Necros! ...
