“A very close match indeed!

Kryten's Cartoon Menagerie had great success in knocking my players down all throughout the match, but we kept getting back up. I tried to keep up physically but the dwarves were overpowering all of my players save the mummies. Things looked grim for me mid way through the first half, as I was driven toward the sidelines. However luck was with me as when Perrin (my ghoul rusher) was knocked down the ball squirted toward the sideline and the Bull Centaur closest accidentally kicked it out of bounds. When the ball was thrown in I was able to surround it, but not control it. When the Menagerie attacked my guards, the ball bounced into Adelande's hands (a skeleton!) and he managed to hold on to it long enough to score at the last minute.

The Menagerie came back with a thirst for vengeance, driving up the field as I tried (and failed) to take out the Bull Centaurs. Progress was slow but steady until Raven (a hobgoblin) made a break for the endzone. I was able to catch the breakaway, and stole the ball. However, both of those Bull Centaurs foiled my plans, bowling over my defenders and allowing Squidward (another hobgoblin) to run the ball in at the last minute to score the tie.”
