An amusing recovery game, with 8 Haven players starting the game against a strong High Elf team. Initially Qb2 got an easy TD, but it looked as if asharak may get one back, until double ones on GFI took the Wardancer down.
The High elves ran the ball towards the far end, but proved utterly incompetent at passing, and dropped the ball, giving the Wood Elves another chance.
Moments later the ball was headed upfield once more, in the arms of the Wood Elf catcher, who was tackled & lost the ball. The Wardancer, having recovered from being stunned & finally go back up picked up the ball, then double ones on his dodge roll to score the TD destroyed the chance again.
A straight run up the park for Talent, and it was 2-0.
Moments before halftime & Wooded Haven were again upfield, holding the ball just a few squares from a TD. The attempted tackle failed, leaving the catcher just needing to dodge clear. The presence of a TZ meant it was a slightly tougher 3+, and sure enough a 1 & a 2 came up.

At the start of the second half the five remaining Haven players took to the field with no expectation of ever even coming close to the line. A swift break by a catcher was made, but almost totally unsupported, a desparate act.
Inevitably the ball was lost, and despite asharak bringing the ball carrier down once another TD was conceded.
With the Wardancer regaining consciousness things were breifly looking up. Haven started their play, but were soon disapointed by the attempted ball pickup, with double ones. However possession was soon regained, and the ball rushed up the pitch for a TD: 3-1. This took a turn longer than it might have as asharak did not gfi, knowing there were no players able to reach the ball carrier & fearing double ones.
A solid, coordinated attack by Talent saw another TD go their way, with only a breif moment of worry as the ball carrier was brought down, but a nearby friendly player caught the scatter.
4-1
With another Blitz kickoff for Talent giving them possession straight away with a beautiful catch despite three tacklezones things were looking dire. However again the ball was recovered, and moved wide. The game appeared over, until the ball carrier was tackled into the square by the edge, with the ball going into the crowd, who promtly threw it to the feet of a Talent player, well behind the Haven line. Suicidal charges proved futile, and talent closed the game with a 5th TD.

Note: While I am complaining about my luck it has to be stated that Qb2 also had a fair slice of bad luck. Neither of us know where the luck numbers shown in the meter came from, must have been mixed up with a different game!

Throughout the game Qb2 was a fantastic opponent, playing well & with humility - he was a good winner. I hope my frustration didn't get on his nerves too much!
