“PBI - Underworld Conference III - Round 4

Handicaps for Unstoffe were Greatest (on Bull and surehands Hob) and Drugs (to make a ma9 ag4 skink).

Final round for me in this conference... and it was a tough one... all that Strength and MA vs some tough dwarves and talented bulls...

I received first half, but rolled double skulls straight away... it wasn't going to get much better... skinks survived, dwarves KO'd with thick skulls not being thick enough, blitzes were rubbish, and gfis resulted in 1's all over the show.

But we eventually scored, 1-0. But of course nuffle hadn't finished. Despite setting up against it in case, Unstoffe got quick snap, and with no rerolls he blocked his ma9 into gfi range, and the other skinks picked up and gfi and handed off ok, with the ma9 skink dodging fine to a TD!... 1-1.

Things didn't really change much 2nd half... and the skinks made their movement count, keeping the ball away from even the bulls. Forced the lizards to score with 2 turns to go, but didn't quite have enough good luck to finally dodge away from the big lizzie and his tail to hand off to an awaiting hobgob who just needed a dodge to score... of course I failed the 1st dodge! :-p

Sounds miserable, and I sound like a right moaning old git, but I don't think I had a fair portion of the luck, and Unstoffe didn't make any mistakes... was a tough game, but Nuffle did smile on my team... 2 players skilled... and a hobgob got +str in return for his late completion.

Thanks for the game Unstoffe... now take the Conference!
