The vile Separatist Droid Army stood before us once more… their Sith stench reminded us of the scare they had left on an otherwise impeccable no-loss record.
This time however it would be the Jedis that dictated the flow of battle and not their legion of preprogrammed droids that required little training for the Clone Wars!
The news that General Grievous had been prematurely retired in a fashion most becoming of the Dark Side did little to ease the threat they posed as this was immediately followed by news, personally delivered to us, that they had recruited Durge – a promising colossus of a droid that was to be taught the ways of the Jedi!
But nonetheless, size does not compensate for ability!
The Separatists received first and their Battle Droid quickly blasted Waquat, and were it not for the talents of the medic this would likely have been enough to kill the clone trooper. Durge then went on to stun our second clone… things were not looking good.
Lama Su suddenly blitzed from deep and threw Durge to the floor, stunning him. Durge remained there for sometime allowing us to take the ball and after a slight stall open the scoring… 1 – 0!
Our talent obviously enraged the Droids as they immediately sent Sifo-Dyas to the SI box with a broken leg and an injury that will hinder him throughout his career. However, too embroiled in their attack they fumbled the ball and almost lost it to us save for the ineptitude of our Clone!
The second half, and with only three players we were to receive. A fortuitous kick left the ball near the endzone and so the clones simply moved into a position to protect Lama Su and prevent the droids reaching him to make an easy 2 – 0.
The Droids now received and made tough work of their opening move, achieving little. Lamu Su applied pressure to the still unhandled ball. Then our brave clones attempted to block Durge, after two failed attempts he ended up at the feet of Durge and are fortunes quickly reversed!
Without support Lam Su was KO’d and the droids made a late score that still allowed them time for a final winner… especially as Lama Su was still unconscious!
But just as we had almost given in to overtime, the Jedi allied crowd took matters into their own hand and stunned two of their men as they invaded the pitch, allowing our desperate clones to run back and protect the ball!
The game concluded 2 – 1 but it was a costly victory… Lama Su continued to strengthen up but the game had taken its toll on his aging bones. With Sifo-Dyas now missing and Lama Su an uncertainty… things suddenly do not look well.

This was a much tougher game than the first. Using the Apo on the RIP clone was a mistake in hindsight, but with only 4 men and no reserves to come it’s an easy one to be drawn into making.
Tough victory and a costly one, and I lucked out at the end else we were surly going to Overtime.
Well played mate. ”
