“I jump at any chance for a tournament and as my only team around 175TR at the time (had to fire a skeleton to get in), Khemri it was! Might as well, no one wants to play them so a tournament is almost mandatory to get games with them.

I hired Ramtut for extra mobility more then anything else. I thought I was done in the 1st half... just a BH tree and lineman. And no one stayed KOed. Again I couldn't do much but KO in the 2nd half but I marched down the field rather easily despite heroics by the leaping War Dancers knocking the ball loose from my AG3 Throw-Ra. The game froze but no harm was done on the reload with all KOs coming back at the end...

When OT was pretty evident I said whoever receives will probably win as the Khemri are too slow to keep up with elves and the elves didn't have enough to out bash 4 mummies and Ramtut cage.

Woodies receive and I'm convinced it's over. But combined with Kick skill and a Blitz I get a chance. But the AG5 WarDancer went nuts and pulled off some acrobatics. But this left many elves in Khemri tackle zones still and much pain insued... a total of 3 BH, a SI, and a RIP WD thanks to a boot all happened in OT and it looked bleak for the Woodies... but I made a critical error...

I moved my tackle Blitzer out of position and followed that with a GFI blitz with a Skeleton... very dumb. Not wanting to burn my last reroll he hurt himself with a GFI 1 and gave the WD an easy toss to a blodge lineman who ran out of blitz range securing a 2-1 lead. Note to self... always keep that tackle blitzer in the middle of the back field as even 2 elves can beat you! Will I ever learn?!?

But then a touch back and a quick snap set up a fairly easy 2 turn score as the elves only had 5 players left.

I lose the coin toss and the rest is history as they say.
