“The wood elves receive and rush up one side in numbers (at least 8 of them!) so we charge in and surround the ball carrier. He tries to pass over the kroxigorus who INTERCEPTS! Go kroxi! He starts charging upfield but gets distracted by a treeman and falls over trying to take him down. The woodies take this chance to dodge around, throw a long pass and run in a TD with ease .. show offs!

We receive and move up the pitch with a lot of elf-bashing going on, leaving only a few on the pitch when rookie skink Immortal Lizardling runs in the 1-1 TD.

Half time and 4/5 elves in the KO box are woken up by their desperate coach, so the numbers are even again. However our fans then charge in and get the ref! What follows is a big brawl with the ball moving all over the place- eventually our lizards realise there is no ref and start fouling on turn 5. We get the ball safe and use fouls to remove players who could get to our skink. The elven coach takes offense and starts whinging and calling names- so at this point we decide to try and hurt something. Naturally after this despite our best attempts the fouls do no more damage!

We score on our final turn and the woodies line up to gang-foul for some revenge! Mighty kroxi is taken down, then surrounded by 7 elves who manage to badly hurt him!! Could have been worse!

Thanks for the game rostern, though your fear of fouling was a bit unfortunate given we had a bribe the ref and then got the ref!!”
