Man, did da Rippas luck out in this one. Our fans got the ref on the first kick-off, DP Grorug killed Cherry-stone uber Blitzer Prissy with the first foul (apo fail) and the hits kept on coming. Da Rippas completely punched through Cherry-stone in the 1st half and scored easily.
2nd half started well, with another RIP by Grorug (Troll regen), but some clever positioning by Cherry-stone allowed them to chainpush Ripper in position to knock the ball free. Da Rippas easily recovered from that, but then failed the pick-up to secure the ball. That let Cherry-stone steal it and try a run down the flank. Da Rippas had the upper hand after that 1st half however, and had the players to prevent an equalizer even with far from perfect coaching. Cherry-stone played better, but were beaten anyway.
