The Titans first drive showed up the weakness of the Monamie line of scrimmage as they cut through them like butter. The unfortunate Blitzer Sonnecar was killed early on taking a bad blow to the head. The ministrations of the team apothecary were too late and Sonnecar was pronounced dead on the pitch. Coach Rockie had sympathy for his fallen player but added "I'd been concerned about the general quality of Laurent's defensive play over the past few weeks. This was a sad moment for us but not unforseen."

The Dauphin's offense still managed to impress, generating 2 first half TD's. Mercury Maurice was gave another scintillating performance, and Robert de Kuechenberg scored a fantastic break away TD on half time.

However the inability to dominate the line of scrimmage resulted in a bruising second half for the Dauphins. With multiple injuries and K.O's the Titans easily ground down the resistance for another all too easy score.”
